Building Safety Act Update with Alan Stokes

Thursday 29th February, 12,30-1.30pm

We are again running this seminar for those who may have missed our previous events. We hope you can join us.   With The Building Safety Act 2022 firmly in place and secondary legislation now taking shape LBC provides this CPD to update you on the changes. Hailed as the biggest overhaul of the construction industry for many years, this legislation imposes new responsibilities on "Dutyholders", clients, designers and contractors with a keen focus on competency demonstration and a new national Building Safety Regulator (BSR) overseeing the implementation. The BSR are also now the ‘regulator’ for High-Risk Buildings in England. This CPD seeks to cut through the jargon and provide meaningful update on the proposed changes.   Link to book   A link to join the Teams webinar will be emailed an hour before the event is due to start.

What our clients say

“LBC have taken our eco-build (timber frame, straw infill, steeply sloping site), easily in their stride; we have been impressed by their pertinent questions and immensely helpful ‘can do’ attitude.

I wanted to leave a review for the CPD that Michael gave us on the Building Safety Act. It was an excellent CPD very informative, thorough and engaging.

“Very satisfied – gives ideas and saves customers costs; very helpful, competent, keen to advise and a prompt service”

“Good attention to detail and a very direct and accessible service.”

“Thank you for your kindness in helping to resolve problems on our project”

“Made the whole process stress free and added value to our finished product. The whole process was made so much easier by the inspector being so helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. Professional but with the ‘human touch’.

“You’re doing a good job – First Class, a very personal service”
